The Public Health Data Science group at UCL aims to equitably improve the health of the public through the application of data science and public health research.
We are a group of clinicians, computer scientists, epidemiologists, engineers, data scientists and public health experts contributing to the national and international development of this new and emerging area of research.
We undertake a range of projects using the transdisciplinary application of data science, public health, and other disciplines’ theories, knowledge, skills and methods.
We use complex, high-volume data, and digital technologies across a wide range of problems ranging from the investigation of the health needs of socially excluded populations to understanding the effectiveness of COVID vaccines.
